Recent major investment in state of the art CNC machining centres and contactless measurement systems enable Cambion to compliment their world renowned high performance connector and inductive products, with RF connectors.
		Specialising in manufacture of custom variants of industry standard ranges Cambion offer an unique facility of fine tuning connections to suit customer's applications. Styles include, N type, 7/16, SMA, SMB, SSMB, MCX, MMCX, DIN 41626 etc. Special styles include blind mates, quick termination and board to board specific spacing. Balun transformers can be included in these connectors.
	Also available, are custom converters theoretically between any of the above series. An example where there is no industry standard converter available, would be MMCX to SMB. Cambion will also manufacture industry standard parts as required.

As part of the commitment to Cambion's RF connector capability, major investment has been made in additional machining capability and capacity. Latest additions include the CNC programmable Citizen M20 Lathe featured here. With 13 axis operation, synchronized thread cutting, hobbing, polygon, turning and a host of other features, most complex shapes and special requirements can be accommodated in one cycle with superb repeatability. To enable maximum capacity, automatic bar feeders are used, in conjunction with automatic swarfe removal, and conveyer extraction of product.

To ensure perfect parts every time, the latest optical contactless measurement tools are also used. The Mitutoyo QS200Z Quickscope with driven 3 axis (XYZ) table, captures critical feature by camera and stores all pre-selected measurement details. From these records, flow and spread charts can automatically be produced. A strict regime of statistical process control (SPC) is utilized.
