Balun systems for CAT5 Network cable
The
purpose of the CCTV
Balun is to allow traditional 75 ohm coax
cable to be replaced by Category 5 (or better) twisted pair in
the CCTV security and surveillance environment, thereby allowing
CCTV camera and monitoring equipment to be deployed more
cost-effectively using structured cabling techniques. For
multiple camera installations savings of over 50% can be made.
CCTV
Balun works with any analogue baseband video equipment that
supports NTSC, PAL or SECAM systems; CCTV cameras, video
multiplexers, video switchers, monitors, scan converters, signal
boosters
4 x Coaxial to
CAT5 Balun

This
module allows 4 camera signals to be transmitted down one CAT5
cable. The unit contains a Balun for each signal line.
RFID
Transponder Coils
Wearnes Cambion
Ltd have released three new series of RFID
Transponder coils to satisfy the requirements of this new
and exciting
technology. The RFID market typically encompasses
frequency ranges from 52KHz to 47GHz, with the lower frequencies being
particularly popular where power generation is required.
Transformers
Cambion
now offer low cost custom made transformers.
A variety of styles can be
manufactured for example 'E' Core, 'C' Core, ETD, EFD, RM , EP, and
Balun. These
transformers are designed for use in a wide range of power supply units
which have applications across the following markets.
Telecoms,Military
Aerospace,Medical
Lighting, Camera Flashlights

New
solderless RF connector slash mating time/cost
A
new range of RF connectors from Wearnes
Cambion, designed principally to be used in conjunction with
semi rigid cable, uses a solderless mating process, saving time
and cutting costs. During assembly, prepared semi rigid cable is
plugged into the RF connector and an integral locking cap is
screwed down, closing the teeth of an inner insert,
providing a strain-relieved, solderless joint. More,
no special tooling is required to effect a quick, pluggable
termination. These low insertion force RF connectors are available
in standard SMA, SMB, MMCX and N footprints. Alternatively,
Wearnes Cambion has invested in state of the art fabrication
tooling, so RF connectors and converters can be customised to suit
a specific application.
Wearnes
Cambion designs, manufactures and markets a range of high
reliability, professional and commercial electro-mechanical
components and a wide variety of inductive
products. Its 40,000 sq ft production facility in
Castleton, UK, operates under a quality management system which
complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
Wire wound inductors shrink again
New
from Cambion, are two ranges of wire wound chip inductors,
in 0603 and 0402 packages. These additions to the Cambion series of surface
mount inductors, compliment existing popular lines of 1008 and 0805 products.
Wound
on ceramic formers, these inductors exhibit superb thermal stability. Their high
self resonating frequencies, and higher than average Q values, make them ideally
suited for applications such as mobile phones, GPS, Bluetooth, wireless LAN
etc..
The
industry standard 0603 and 0402 outlines, are supplied packaged on 180mm reels,
with 4,000 0603s and 5,000 0402’s per reel, to aid rapid, fully automatic
application by the latest board assembly equipment.
